Everyone knows that a language course can be very rewarding and great fun but we want to show you what it’s all about in reality.Therefore we have sent a film crew on a mission to closely follow a language school group and a few students in particular to Malta this summer. Five students, five nationalities and five unique personalities all united for two exciting fun filled weeks! The film crew document everything that the group does including travelling to the destination, school life, accommodation, excursions and activities. Representing Finland is Helena, 16 years old from Virtasalmi in Eastern Finland. She will be starting her second high School year in the fall. When Helena is not in school she likes to go horse back riding, post crossing, reading and listening to music. Being amongst nature is when she is most happy, lively, open minded and social. She wishes to meet new people, have fun and learn English during the Malta language trip.
Representing Italy is Davide, 18 years old from Calolziocorte. He is attending secondary school with emphasis on science at the moment. When not is school, he loves to play basket ball, go snowboarding, hang out with friends, watch movies, read newspapers, magazines, books and he enjoys writing. As a person he describes himself as outgoing, open mind, curious and adaptable. He wanted to be a part of English United to learn good English, get a wonderful experience and get to know people that live in a different culture than his own.
Representing Norway is Pernilla, 15 years old from Sandefjord. She is a very active girl who loves to hang out with friends, dancing, shopping and she also enjoys playing handball in her spare time. She really enjoys getting to know new people, that is the major reason to why she’s on this trip and why she is part of our English United team. Of course the nice weather, interesting Maltese culture will make the trip even better and make sure she will have great memories for life.
Representing Sweden is Jenny who is 16 years old and from Stockholm. She has just finished the 9th grade and will start her first high school year with a focus on the dramatic subjects this fall. She’s a girl with big ambitions, dreams and her goal is to get a fun creative job in the future. She loves languages and looks forward to practice her English skills on Malta. During her free-time Jenny loves to meet up with friends, go shopping, go to concerts, movies and of course “to travel” as much as she can! By being our representative she wants to show her friends at home what they are missing out on, so that they can hopefully join her next year.
Representing France is Margault, 15 years old from Loiron. She loves communication, travelling to foreign countries and she would like to become a reporter when she’s older. She is a really sociable person who likes to smile and laugh. The language trip to Malta is a way for her to meet new people and to be able to actually speak English. Being a part of the English United team just makes it all more exciting!
